26 A - Celebrating Failure
Let's Fail, A lot!
1. Specifically for this class I failed to upload my URL for two of the assignments even though uploaded the assignment on the blog. This was definitely an L ( loss) in my book because I actually did the assignment but I also blame myself for not being careful enough to check to see if I provided the URL.
2. . I normally do the assignments a day in advance so that if I miss anything I can catch it before hand. Unfortunately, that same week I had a lot going on in terms of school, work, and extracurricular activities so I waited till the day off to finish the assignments. I learned to take my time when I submit my assignments. Also I would say I need to learn to balance/manage my schedule a little bit better especially when I know the upcoming week is going to be busy.
3. Honestly, I was disappointed in myself because I should not have forgotten. I was being a little hard on myself at first because I never thought I would allow this to happen. I gave myself a couple days to realize my mistake but decided not to dwell on it any longer and figure out my next steps. The first thing I did was email Dr. Pryor to see what he suggested I do. He explained that there were extra credit opportunities coming up that I could take advantage off (which I will be doing. Also, I planned out my schedule for the next few assignments that were coming up and planned accordingly. Lastly, I double check every time I submit an assignment to ensure that I have completed all parts of it.

Hello Jess, this class was something that I needed to get use too. I don’t think I ever had a class where I needed to do so many assignments. Making sure the blogger site worked correctly and making sure my assignments were turned in on time was something I wanted to not fail on. I know I can be hard to upload things at first, but now it’s no issue!
ReplyDeleteHi Jess,
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing your celebrating failure assignment. I can totally relate with accidentally doing things last minute or forgetting to submit something small like the URL. The details especially with this class are really important! I am glad that you are learning from your failures. I agree that failure is a lesson and can make you better and help you be more careful and aware.
